Copper Panchpatra Spoon is a copper vessel used for worship in homes and temples. It was called Pancha Patara Patharam, which means a vessel to hold 5 leaves (Tulasi, Arugu, Vembu, Vilvam & Vanni) in water for worship. This water is then distributed to the people as prasad. Copper water is considered so auspicious and is considered as medicine for many ailments. These are traditional items used in Vedic temple worship for purification.
